First and foremost, this email confirms that you are registered to attend the Gala and Auction on November 12. As you may know, we sold out of the event four weeks before the event so we’re positively overwhelmed with such great support from our community!
For those of you that have been long time attendees of this event, and for those of you that this is the first year that you will be attending, we want to make sure that this continues to be “The” Philanthropic event of Golden and wanted to give you a few reminders leading up to November 12. These reminders include:
Plan to arrive at the Gala & Auction at 5pm for cocktails, networking and to bid on silent auction items. At 6:30pm, our evening’s program will begin and dinner will be served. Following dinner, get ready to bid on some pretty exciting live auction items led by our auctioneer extraordinaire Shawn Hagler!
We’re excited that this is our first year to use mobile bidding for our silent auction! Mobile bidding allows you to register before you arrive at our auction as well as start bidding on items 48 hours ahead of time from the comfort of your home. We appreciate all of the donations to our auction this year and are pleased to announce that we have over $60,000 of fantastic items available to bid on in our auction this year!
As we embark with this new technology, check out our website to start getting familiar with mobile bidding. This website includes many frequently asked questions as well as gives you an overview of what to expect. IMPORTANT: If you haven’t done so already, please email us your email and mobile numbers.
We have an impressive list of items on our live auction block! We’ll be sure to give you a more descriptive list soon so you can start strategizing with your friends to purchase these great items. To give you a snippet of what to look forward to, think about how cool it would be to drive down Washington Avenue on a Harley Davidson 750 Road Bike, vacation to Australia, Hawaii or the mountains, or even holding a huge party with a band at the Buffalo Rose before it gets renovated!
